UserTutor Corporation is now accepting applications for a “Website Applications Developer“. This position begins as a per project, contract position that is intended to lead to a permanent employment position within the corporation.

Description
The successful applicant will report to the Operations Manager, and will be responsible for developing and enhancing new and existing websites with an emphasis on business applications and workflow.

Core Skill Requirements
Demonstrated ability with html, php, javascript, and css. Experience with open source applications which includes WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal and demonstrated ability to familiarize with and develop new applications.

UserTutor Corporation is looking for a developer who works well in a team environment, but also is willing and capable to assume a supervisory position as required. Projects are assigned with all materials made available, full description of the projects, and expected delivery date and requires an individual who can prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Work will primarily be completed on premises in High River, Alberta, though telecommuting will form a portion of the workflow. Expanding offsite development will be considered for the right individual.

UserTutor Training Management System

A lot of effort and support went into TutorialMS, an original creation by Scott Somerville. This open source software has been taken over by new individuals who are rebuilding a new design for TutorialMS, version 2.0. (www.tutorialms.com) We wish them all success!

At UserTutor Corp. we have determined that there is much offered in the original software, so we are further developing from the 1.4 version in order to ultimately release UserTutorTMS version 1.0. As we develop we will be releasing lesser level versions at this site and will rely on user feedback to achieve the final release.

In compliance with the GNU license, our software will also be open source released.
